How To Uninstall apper On Debian 9

To uninstall apper just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apper

KDE package management tool using PackageKitDebian 9.0kde0.9.2+git20161222-3
sudo apt-get remove apper

This will remove just the apper package itself.

Uninstall apper and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apper

This will remove the apper package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apper then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apper

Or similarly, like this apper

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apper
