How To Uninstall appmenu-qt On Debian 9

To uninstall appmenu-qt just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just appmenu-qt

application menu for QtDebian 9.0kde0.2.6-2
sudo apt-get remove appmenu-qt

This will remove just the appmenu-qt package itself.

Uninstall appmenu-qt and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove appmenu-qt

This will remove the appmenu-qt package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for appmenu-qt then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge appmenu-qt

Or similarly, like this appmenu-qt

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove appmenu-qt
