How To Uninstall apt-build On Debian 9

To uninstall apt-build just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apt-build

frontend to apt to build, optimize and install packagesDebian 9.0devel0.12.47
sudo apt-get remove apt-build

This will remove just the apt-build package itself.

Uninstall apt-build and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apt-build

This will remove the apt-build package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apt-build then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apt-build

Or similarly, like this apt-build

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apt-build
