How To Uninstall apt-dater-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall apt-dater-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apt-dater-dbg

terminal-based remote package update manager (dbg symbols)Debian 9.0debug1.0.3-4
sudo apt-get remove apt-dater-dbg

This will remove just the apt-dater-dbg package itself.

Uninstall apt-dater-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apt-dater-dbg

This will remove the apt-dater-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apt-dater-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apt-dater-dbg

Or similarly, like this apt-dater-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apt-dater-dbg
