How To Uninstall apt-forktracer On Debian 9

To uninstall apt-forktracer just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apt-forktracer

sudo apt-get remove apt-forktracer

This will remove just the apt-forktracer package itself.

Uninstall apt-forktracer and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apt-forktracer

This will remove the apt-forktracer package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apt-forktracer then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apt-forktracer

Or similarly, like this apt-forktracer

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apt-forktracer
