How To Uninstall apt-listbugs On Debian 9

To uninstall apt-listbugs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apt-listbugs

tool which lists critical bugs before each APT installationDebian 9.0admin0.1.22
sudo apt-get remove apt-listbugs

This will remove just the apt-listbugs package itself.

Uninstall apt-listbugs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apt-listbugs

This will remove the apt-listbugs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apt-listbugs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apt-listbugs

Or similarly, like this apt-listbugs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apt-listbugs
