How To Uninstall apt-src On Debian 9

To uninstall apt-src just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apt-src

manage Debian source packagesDebian 9.0admin0.25.2
sudo apt-get remove apt-src

This will remove just the apt-src package itself.

Uninstall apt-src and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apt-src

This will remove the apt-src package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apt-src then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apt-src

Or similarly, like this apt-src

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apt-src
