How To Uninstall apt-venv On Debian 9

To uninstall apt-venv just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apt-venv

apt virtual environmentDebian 9.0admin1.0.0-2
sudo apt-get remove apt-venv

This will remove just the apt-venv package itself.

Uninstall apt-venv and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apt-venv

This will remove the apt-venv package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apt-venv then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apt-venv

Or similarly, like this apt-venv

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apt-venv
