How To Uninstall aptfs On Debian 9

To uninstall aptfs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just aptfs

FUSE filesystem for APT source repositoriesDebian 9.0utils2:0.10-1
sudo apt-get remove aptfs

This will remove just the aptfs package itself.

Uninstall aptfs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove aptfs

This will remove the aptfs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for aptfs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge aptfs

Or similarly, like this aptfs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove aptfs
