How To Uninstall aptly On Debian 9

To uninstall aptly just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just aptly

Swiss army knife for Debian repository managementDebian 9.0utils0.9.7-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove aptly

This will remove just the aptly package itself.

Uninstall aptly and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove aptly

This will remove the aptly package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for aptly then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge aptly

Or similarly, like this aptly

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove aptly
