How To Uninstall ara On Debian 9

To uninstall ara just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ara

Command line utility for searching the Debian package databaseDebian 9.0utils1.0.32+b1
sudo apt-get remove ara

This will remove just the ara package itself.

Uninstall ara and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ara

This will remove the ara package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ara then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ara

Or similarly, like this ara

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ara
