How To Uninstall arachne-pnr On Debian 9

To uninstall arachne-pnr just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just arachne-pnr

Place and route tool for iCE40 family FPGAsDebian 9.0electronics0.1+20160813git52e69ed-1
sudo apt-get remove arachne-pnr

This will remove just the arachne-pnr package itself.

Uninstall arachne-pnr and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove arachne-pnr

This will remove the arachne-pnr package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for arachne-pnr then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge arachne-pnr

Or similarly, like this arachne-pnr

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove arachne-pnr
