How To Uninstall ardour-data On Debian 9

To uninstall ardour-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ardour-data

digital audio workstation (data)Debian 9.0sound1:5.5.0~dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove ardour-data

This will remove just the ardour-data package itself.

Uninstall ardour-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ardour-data

This will remove the ardour-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ardour-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ardour-data

Or similarly, like this ardour-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ardour-data
