How To Uninstall arename On Debian 9

To uninstall arename just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just arename

linuxautomatic audio file renaming toolsound4.0-3
sudo apt-get remove arename

This will remove just the arename package itself.

Uninstall arename and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove arename

This will remove the arename package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for arename then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge arename

Or similarly, like this arename

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove arename
