How To Uninstall argus-client On Debian 9

To uninstall argus-client just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just argus-client

IP network transaction auditing toolDebian 9.0net1:3.0.8.2-3
sudo apt-get remove argus-client

This will remove just the argus-client package itself.

Uninstall argus-client and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove argus-client

This will remove the argus-client package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for argus-client then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge argus-client

Or similarly, like this argus-client

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove argus-client
