How To Uninstall ark On Debian 9

To uninstall ark just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ark

linuxarchive utilityutils4:16.08.3-2
sudo apt-get remove ark

This will remove just the ark package itself.

Uninstall ark and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ark

This will remove the ark package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ark then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ark

Or similarly, like this ark

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ark
