How To Uninstall arno-iptables-firewall On Debian 9

To uninstall arno-iptables-firewall just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just arno-iptables-firewall

single- and multi-homed firewall script with DSL/ADSL supportDebian 9.0net2.0.1.f-1
sudo apt-get remove arno-iptables-firewall

This will remove just the arno-iptables-firewall package itself.

Uninstall arno-iptables-firewall and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove arno-iptables-firewall

This will remove the arno-iptables-firewall package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for arno-iptables-firewall then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge arno-iptables-firewall

Or similarly, like this arno-iptables-firewall

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove arno-iptables-firewall
