How To Uninstall arp-scan On Debian 9

To uninstall arp-scan just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just arp-scan

arp scanning and fingerprinting toolDebian 9.0admin1.9-1
sudo apt-get remove arp-scan

This will remove just the arp-scan package itself.

Uninstall arp-scan and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove arp-scan

This will remove the arp-scan package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for arp-scan then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge arp-scan

Or similarly, like this arp-scan

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove arp-scan
