How To Uninstall arpalert On Debian 9

To uninstall arpalert just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just arpalert

linuxmonitor ARP changes in ethernet networksnet2.0.12-1
sudo apt-get remove arpalert

This will remove just the arpalert package itself.

Uninstall arpalert and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove arpalert

This will remove the arpalert package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for arpalert then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge arpalert

Or similarly, like this arpalert

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove arpalert
