How To Uninstall artemis On Debian 9

To uninstall artemis just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just artemis

genome browser and annotation toolDebian 9.0science16.0.17+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove artemis

This will remove just the artemis package itself.

Uninstall artemis and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove artemis

This will remove the artemis package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for artemis then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge artemis

Or similarly, like this artemis

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove artemis
