How To Uninstall asmixer On Debian 9

To uninstall asmixer just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just asmixer

AfterStep audio mixerDebian 9.0sound0.5-14+b2
sudo apt-get remove asmixer

This will remove just the asmixer package itself.

Uninstall asmixer and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove asmixer

This will remove the asmixer package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for asmixer then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge asmixer

Or similarly, like this asmixer

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove asmixer
