How To Uninstall asterisk-dev On Debian 9

To uninstall asterisk-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just asterisk-dev

Development files for AsteriskDebian 9.0devel1:13.14.1~dfsg-2
sudo apt-get remove asterisk-dev

This will remove just the asterisk-dev package itself.

Uninstall asterisk-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove asterisk-dev

This will remove the asterisk-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for asterisk-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge asterisk-dev

Or similarly, like this asterisk-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove asterisk-dev
