How To Uninstall asterisk-flite On Debian 9

To uninstall asterisk-flite just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just asterisk-flite

flite module for AsteriskDebian 9.0comm2.3-1
sudo apt-get remove asterisk-flite

This will remove just the asterisk-flite package itself.

Uninstall asterisk-flite and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove asterisk-flite

This will remove the asterisk-flite package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for asterisk-flite then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge asterisk-flite

Or similarly, like this asterisk-flite

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove asterisk-flite
