How To Uninstall astro-development On Debian 9

To uninstall astro-development just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just astro-development

C/C++ development packages for astronomyDebian 9.0metapackages1.0
sudo apt-get remove astro-development

This will remove just the astro-development package itself.

Uninstall astro-development and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove astro-development

This will remove the astro-development package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for astro-development then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge astro-development

Or similarly, like this astro-development

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove astro-development
