How To Uninstall astro-publication On Debian 9

To uninstall astro-publication just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just astro-publication

Packages for the publication and presentation of astronomical dataDebian 9.0metapackages1.0
sudo apt-get remove astro-publication

This will remove just the astro-publication package itself.

Uninstall astro-publication and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove astro-publication

This will remove the astro-publication package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for astro-publication then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge astro-publication

Or similarly, like this astro-publication

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove astro-publication
