How To Uninstall astro-tasks On Debian 9

To uninstall astro-tasks just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just astro-tasks

Debian Astronomy Pure Blend (tasksel tasks)Debian 9.0science1.0
sudo apt-get remove astro-tasks

This will remove just the astro-tasks package itself.

Uninstall astro-tasks and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove astro-tasks

This will remove the astro-tasks package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for astro-tasks then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge astro-tasks

Or similarly, like this astro-tasks

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove astro-tasks
