How To Uninstall astro-viewers On Debian 9

To uninstall astro-viewers just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just astro-viewers

Interactive astronomical data viewersDebian 9.0metapackages1.0
sudo apt-get remove astro-viewers

This will remove just the astro-viewers package itself.

Uninstall astro-viewers and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove astro-viewers

This will remove the astro-viewers package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for astro-viewers then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge astro-viewers

Or similarly, like this astro-viewers

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove astro-viewers
