How To Uninstall atm-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall atm-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just atm-tools

Base programs for ATM in Linux, the net-tools for ATMDebian 9.0net1:2.5.1-2
sudo apt-get remove atm-tools

This will remove just the atm-tools package itself.

Uninstall atm-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove atm-tools

This will remove the atm-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for atm-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge atm-tools

Or similarly, like this atm-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove atm-tools
