How To Uninstall audacious On Debian 9

To uninstall audacious just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just audacious

small and fast audio player which supports lots of formatsDebian 9.0sound3.7.2-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove audacious

This will remove just the audacious package itself.

Uninstall audacious and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove audacious

This will remove the audacious package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for audacious then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge audacious

Or similarly, like this audacious

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove audacious
