How To Uninstall audiofile-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall audiofile-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just audiofile-tools

sfinfo and sfconvert toolsDebian 9.0utils0.3.6-4
sudo apt-get remove audiofile-tools

This will remove just the audiofile-tools package itself.

Uninstall audiofile-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove audiofile-tools

This will remove the audiofile-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for audiofile-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge audiofile-tools

Or similarly, like this audiofile-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove audiofile-tools
