How To Uninstall audiotools On Debian 9

To uninstall audiotools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just audiotools

Collection of audio handling programs for the command lineDebian 9.0sound3.1.1-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove audiotools

This will remove just the audiotools package itself.

Uninstall audiotools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove audiotools

This will remove the audiotools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for audiotools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge audiotools

Or similarly, like this audiotools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove audiotools
