How To Uninstall augeas-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall augeas-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just augeas-dbg

Debugging symbols for libaugeas0Debian 9.0debug1.8.0-1
sudo apt-get remove augeas-dbg

This will remove just the augeas-dbg package itself.

Uninstall augeas-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove augeas-dbg

This will remove the augeas-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for augeas-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge augeas-dbg

Or similarly, like this augeas-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove augeas-dbg
