How To Uninstall auto-apt-proxy On Debian 9

To uninstall auto-apt-proxy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just auto-apt-proxy

automatic detector of common APT proxy settingsDebian 9.0net2
sudo apt-get remove auto-apt-proxy

This will remove just the auto-apt-proxy package itself.

Uninstall auto-apt-proxy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove auto-apt-proxy

This will remove the auto-apt-proxy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for auto-apt-proxy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge auto-apt-proxy

Or similarly, like this auto-apt-proxy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove auto-apt-proxy
