How To Uninstall autoconf-archive On Debian 9

To uninstall autoconf-archive just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just autoconf-archive

Autoconf Macro ArchiveDebian 9.0devel20160916-1
sudo apt-get remove autoconf-archive

This will remove just the autoconf-archive package itself.

Uninstall autoconf-archive and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove autoconf-archive

This will remove the autoconf-archive package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for autoconf-archive then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge autoconf-archive

Or similarly, like this autoconf-archive

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove autoconf-archive
