How To Uninstall autoconf2.13 On Debian 9

To uninstall autoconf2.13 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just autoconf2.13

automatic configure script builder (obsolete version)Debian 9.0devel2.13-67
sudo apt-get remove autoconf2.13

This will remove just the autoconf2.13 package itself.

Uninstall autoconf2.13 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove autoconf2.13

This will remove the autoconf2.13 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for autoconf2.13 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge autoconf2.13

Or similarly, like this autoconf2.13

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove autoconf2.13
