How To Uninstall autodir On Debian 9

To uninstall autodir just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just autodir

Automatically creates home and group directories for LDAP/NIS/SQL/local accountsDebian 9.0utils0.99.9-10+b1
sudo apt-get remove autodir

This will remove just the autodir package itself.

Uninstall autodir and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove autodir

This will remove the autodir package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for autodir then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge autodir

Or similarly, like this autodir

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove autodir
