How To Uninstall autodns-dhcp On Debian 9

To uninstall autodns-dhcp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just autodns-dhcp

Automatic DNS updates for DHCPDebian 9.0net0.9
sudo apt-get remove autodns-dhcp

This will remove just the autodns-dhcp package itself.

Uninstall autodns-dhcp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove autodns-dhcp

This will remove the autodns-dhcp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for autodns-dhcp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge autodns-dhcp

Or similarly, like this autodns-dhcp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove autodns-dhcp
