How To Uninstall autojump On Debian 9

To uninstall autojump just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just autojump

shell extension to jump to frequently used directoriesDebian 9.0shells22.5.0-2
sudo apt-get remove autojump

This will remove just the autojump package itself.

Uninstall autojump and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove autojump

This will remove the autojump package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for autojump then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge autojump

Or similarly, like this autojump

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove autojump
