How To Uninstall autokey-qt On Debian 9

To uninstall autokey-qt just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just autokey-qt

desktop automation utility - KDE versionDebian 9.0kde0.90.4-1
sudo apt-get remove autokey-qt

This will remove just the autokey-qt package itself.

Uninstall autokey-qt and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove autokey-qt

This will remove the autokey-qt package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for autokey-qt then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge autokey-qt

Or similarly, like this autokey-qt

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove autokey-qt
