How To Uninstall autolog On Debian 9

To uninstall autolog just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just autolog

Terminates connections for idle usersDebian 9.0admin0.40-13.1
sudo apt-get remove autolog

This will remove just the autolog package itself.

Uninstall autolog and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove autolog

This will remove the autolog package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for autolog then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge autolog

Or similarly, like this autolog

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove autolog
