How To Uninstall automoc On Debian 9

To uninstall automoc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just automoc

automatic moc for Qt 4 packagesDebian 9.0devel1.0~version-0.9.88-5+b2
sudo apt-get remove automoc

This will remove just the automoc package itself.

Uninstall automoc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove automoc

This will remove the automoc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for automoc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge automoc

Or similarly, like this automoc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove automoc
