How To Uninstall automx On Debian 9

To uninstall automx just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just automx

Provides account configuration data to mailclientsDebian 9.0mail0.10.0-2.1
sudo apt-get remove automx

This will remove just the automx package itself.

Uninstall automx and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove automx

This will remove the automx package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for automx then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge automx

Or similarly, like this automx

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove automx
