How To Uninstall automysqlbackup On Debian 9

To uninstall automysqlbackup just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just automysqlbackup

daily, weekly and monthly backup for your MySQL databaseDebian 9.0admin2.6+debian.4-1
sudo apt-get remove automysqlbackup

This will remove just the automysqlbackup package itself.

Uninstall automysqlbackup and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove automysqlbackup

This will remove the automysqlbackup package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for automysqlbackup then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge automysqlbackup

Or similarly, like this automysqlbackup

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove automysqlbackup
