How To Uninstall autorenamer On Debian 9

To uninstall autorenamer just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just autorenamer

program to rename files to make them sort in given orderDebian 9.0utils0.4-1
sudo apt-get remove autorenamer

This will remove just the autorenamer package itself.

Uninstall autorenamer and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove autorenamer

This will remove the autorenamer package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for autorenamer then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge autorenamer

Or similarly, like this autorenamer

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove autorenamer
