How To Uninstall autotrash On Debian 9

To uninstall autotrash just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just autotrash

purges files from your trash based on age and/or filenameDebian 9.0utils0.1.5-1.1
sudo apt-get remove autotrash

This will remove just the autotrash package itself.

Uninstall autotrash and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove autotrash

This will remove the autotrash package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for autotrash then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge autotrash

Or similarly, like this autotrash

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove autotrash
