How To Uninstall avfs On Debian 9

To uninstall avfs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just avfs

virtual filesystem to access archives, disk images, remote locationsDebian 9.0utils1.0.3-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove avfs

This will remove just the avfs package itself.

Uninstall avfs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove avfs

This will remove the avfs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for avfs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge avfs

Or similarly, like this avfs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove avfs
