How To Uninstall avr-libc On Debian 9

To uninstall avr-libc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just avr-libc

Standard C library for Atmel AVR developmentDebian 9.0otherosfs1:1.8.0+Atmel3.5.0-1
sudo apt-get remove avr-libc

This will remove just the avr-libc package itself.

Uninstall avr-libc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove avr-libc

This will remove the avr-libc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for avr-libc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge avr-libc

Or similarly, like this avr-libc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove avr-libc
