How To Uninstall avrp On Debian 9

To uninstall avrp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just avrp

Programmer for Atmel AVR microcontrollersDebian 9.0electronics1.0beta3-7+b2
sudo apt-get remove avrp

This will remove just the avrp package itself.

Uninstall avrp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove avrp

This will remove the avrp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for avrp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge avrp

Or similarly, like this avrp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove avrp
