How To Uninstall awesfx On Debian 9

To uninstall awesfx just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just awesfx

utility programs for AWE32/64 and Emu10k1 driverDebian 9.0sound0.5.1e-1
sudo apt-get remove awesfx

This will remove just the awesfx package itself.

Uninstall awesfx and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove awesfx

This will remove the awesfx package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for awesfx then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge awesfx

Or similarly, like this awesfx

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove awesfx
