How To Uninstall awit-dbackup On Debian 9

To uninstall awit-dbackup just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just awit-dbackup

Flexible one archive per directory backup toolDebian 9.0utils0.0.22-1
sudo apt-get remove awit-dbackup

This will remove just the awit-dbackup package itself.

Uninstall awit-dbackup and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove awit-dbackup

This will remove the awit-dbackup package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for awit-dbackup then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge awit-dbackup

Or similarly, like this awit-dbackup

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove awit-dbackup
